Business details

Sulabh International Social Service Organisation has built more than 1.3 million toilets and helped more than 640 towns in India eliminate the practice of manual scavenging (cleaning excreta by hand). Our iconic toilet — the two-pit "Sulabh Shauchalya" — is ubiquitous not just among toilet-goers in India (where the government has built more than 54 million toilets based on Sulabh's design) but also throughout the world, as its low-cost, environmentally-friendly, patent-free design has been adopted in many different developing countries as they seek improved sanitation.
